I'm doing good with the exercise this week again, but totally struggled with eating yesterday. I had opportunites to have treats and a nice lunch and although I didn't pile on my plate, certainly had a lot of calories. I had also made a pan of brownies the day before and yesterday kept breaking off a little piece here and there. I just realized if I would have gone back to my rule of conscious eating and sitting down when I ate, then I may not have done that. I can tell I am PMSing and it causes me to really crave chocolate and to be munchy. My weight has again been hanging out at 142 since my last weigh in last week. I really had hoped to get off this pattern, but unfortunately I guess I will not get past it if I don't change what I am doing! I will weigh in tomorrow.

For exercise so far, this is week 6 in the triathlon training. I have heard we will have an official sprint tri at the YMCA in February. So that will be a good goal. There are mini timed events area wide but those are not the actual distances. The other real ones are not until the summer b/c you swim in Lake Michigan or an outside lake. I am shooting to really increase my running ability now. I did 1.5 miles plus walking on Monday and swam for 25 min. yesterday a little further the 1/2 mile for the tri.

Well, my kids are already being bad for the day. Grr. Time to get breakfast with a calming face.

Way to go on the exercise. I'm noticing how you're being nicer to yourself in regards to the brownie/food. Good for you, Rachel. I'm proud of you. =)

I don't blame you for breaking off pieces of the brownies (but WHY would you tempt making such a delight to have in the house???). Oh, well. This, too, shall pass! Don't fret over it. You'll break through this weight barrier. Hang in there :D
