Hoodoos are those little stone spires sticking up on the base of the hill.

Gorgeous pics, Gug! Thanks for sharing them with us! I'd LOVE to go there some day. Did you use a telephoto lens to get the shot of the bear and coyote? I'd be a little scared to get THAT close to them! :)

evelyn64 is right about the hoodoos. Most are pretty big. These are made of glacier material by the wind. I'll post more hoodoos. Some of the pictures were taken with a zoom, but most were close enough not to need it. Most animals were so close to the road or just crossing the road.
