Oh so sad, my vacation is over. I feel relaxed (sort of) and only had a 2 pound gain. I am back on track with induction and know I will be fine in a few days. During my 9 days off I spent 3 with my granddaughter spending the night and the younger 2 spending one day. Not the most relaxing but thorouhgly enjoyable. I spent 4 days driving around the midwest. Despite the gas prices it was the only thing that sounded like fun. I drove through NE Oklahoma, NW Arkansas, and SW Missouri the first trip. It was beautiful. The winding roads and lakes were calming to look at. At the end of my time off I drove out to western Kansas to see the old stone churches in Liebenthal but was detered by the baseball size hail that struck north of there. Some day I will venture a little farther out but with prices and the amount of miles my truck already has it was good to stay close to home. I ended the time off with 1600 miles added along with the 2 pound gain. The other good part was I went to the pool several times and did a lot of walking there. While my food choices were not good the amounts were definitely not like they used to be.

2 pound gain is not bad for vacation. I usually gain about 8 lbs, but it will come off quick because it is probably just water weight. Just get back on the plan and you'll be back on track in no time.

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a fun time! A 2 lb. gain after a vacation isn't bad. Now you can get back on track and make those 2 lbs. go away! :)

glad you had a nice trip. 2 lbs can be such a temporaty thing, and those temporary weights are easier to get rid of when you get right back on track. You'll probably be down again in such a short time you will surprise yourself!
