day 1- i have switched diets im on WW. im still going to increase my water intake and exercise daily now i have to stay within my points..any tips or suggestion for someone starting WW plz feel free to send them my way!!

The best tip I know is to write it all down. It helps immensely and it also makes you more aware. Drink your water that helps too. Good luck WW is a great program!

Yes, do the food diary here on FS! You can change it to figure out and display WW points (like it does for calories, carbs, etc.) It also helps with portion sizes - when you can see the points difference between 1/2 cup of something vs. a whole cup. Good luck!

I agree, write it all down. At least that way, you are aware where all the points (on Atkins, the carbs) are going, or is it, went? :)

Everyone has already given you the best tip, write it down. When I write down everything that goes in my mouth it makes me stop and think. I'm a mindless eater! I have been using the phrase "Once on my lips, forever on my hips!" My (grown) kids think it's corny but it keeps us laughing and them reminded that I am committed to losing it this time! If you have a specific question I will be glad to help if I can! PS-the food diary is simple to do and I always read the encouraging remarks when I journal.

I think you are going to do GREAT on WW! My 'tips' would be...really up the water intake, as it make a huge huge difference. Also, the writing down of every single thing you eat is a must just to keep ya on track :o) I keep a big bowl of fresh veggies and fruit in the fridge at all times. When I feel the 'need' to snack I drink 20 oz of water first and then grab the bowls I pre-made with the veggies/fruit. That really really helps me. Good luck to ya! ww works--just do the stuff and you won't feel like you're dieting or sacrificing anything...initially count and measure everything, write down all meals and points, drink plenty of water, get at least 20 mins of exercise daily, eat higher proteins and lower carbs or fats, and you'll see it working! Good luck! And oh! be sure to check in here DAILY!!!! :)
