Today's Bible Reading is Psalms 63:1-8

1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

2To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

3Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

4Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

5My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

6When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Hello everyone. Praise be to the God of my Salvation. I am still here. I had a great weekend. As you can tell by my diet calendar, I celebrate with food as well...But God. I am still withdrawing from the habit of using food as a coping mechanism and look forward to the day when that is broken off my life.

This week I want to be a God chaser or God seeker. See I know God loves me but I don't always take the time to love him cause stuff gets in the way. My relationship with God is a bit one sided. So today I want to just thank and praise God for his goodness towards me. When I look back over my life and think about all that he has done for me I have to praise Him. There is power in your praise especially when you praise God during hardtimes and storms and remember that he is right there with us in the storm. Secondly, I am going to be who God says I am no matter what my present set of circumstances. The Lord has a plan and a future for my life and He will bring it to pass. So I am just going to love on My father and trust Him while he is preparing me.
