Im so confused! I don't know why my RDI says I should be eating like 2200 calories? Is that right? Everyone else's seems SO much lower. I'm not eating that much a day, I just wish it was correct on here.

You can change it - I think you go into your account and it'll have a link to change your RDI. Mine was set at like 3500, and I knew it should be lower than that, lol! I was recommended to check out a site (here's the link http://www.shapefit.com/calorie-intake-calculator.html) that will calculate what your calorie intake should be to lose weight. I was also told that Jillian Michaels recommends subtracting 500 calories from that figure. That's what I did anyway, and most of the time, I'm not even reaching my calorie "allotment" for the day anyway! :) Just make sure you're at least getting 1200/day - which, isn't a hard thing to do! :)

Oh and I just checked - you click on where it says "My Diet" and then it'll have another link once the page loads to change your RDI :) Sorry for bombarding your journal with comments!! :)

Hahaah! that's okay. LOL! I went to that. the "change you RDI thingy" but it keeps setting it the same. And Im putting that I want to lose weight, not maintain it. Idk, its weird.

I changed mine to what I wanted it to be...1742, I think. You just have to type it in :)

Yeah, once you calculate it - you can type in the one box whatever you want! Hope it worked for you :)

You can probably eat around 2K and still lose, depending on how active you are. At my weight I can still get away with some 2K days and lose. It is slower though... I try to alternate between high and low days.
