My suggestion: Go back to eating the way that best supports your goals, preparing enough for you and your brother. If he doesn't want to eat it, keep it for your next meal. If he wants to eat something *in addition* to what you've prepared, invite him to *also* prepare *what he likes*. (That doesn't mean *you* eat *his* stuff!) If you don't think that'll work, maybe it'll give you some ideas for alternatives.
