So the new scale was a little depressing. I am beginning to doubt my decision to go with Atkins. Time to get down to business. I am going to give it 2 more weeks and see what happens . I have got to lose this weight and at this point think I would do just about anything.

A certain wise young man, (namely my son) asked if buying a new scale was really a good idea. I maybe should have listened to him. Finding out I wasn't a far along as I thought really made me sad.

You are the same today as you were yesterday. Your pants fit the same. Your rings fit the same. You look the same to others and yourself in the mirror. Don't let some silly ol' number get you down. The new scale didn't change you. However, which ever scale you use, stick with it. You will win this!!!
