Went out & bought a 10ft long measuring tape, just to make sure it would go around me b/c I hate when you get an average size one & it's a joke in comparision to my body. Took my measurements & I'm going to post them here & then I'm going to post them in my bio as my starting measurements as I know for sure that my body hasn't changed since Dec.
Measurements Biceps: L-17.5" R-16.25" ALOT of excess skin from previous weight loss Bust: 45.75" Under Bust: 40" Stomach: 48.5" Hips: 55.75" Thighs: L-32.75" R-32.5" Calves: L-18.75" R-18.5" *Biceps, thighs & calves were all measured at the largest part
BMI: 40.9 (So in the past 5 yrs I've gone from Super Obese to Morbidly Obese, soon I'll get to be Severely Obese. All my life these terms have made me want people to just call me a beast, seems kinder.)
Body Fat: ~50% (maybe just under as I'm taking it from my last saved weigh-in) This is sad b/c even when I was 370lbs I wasn't half fat. But alas, over the past 5 yrs & my previous weight loss, I lost alot of muscle mass & I've become one of the Wall-E jelly people = ( But I'm every so slowly working on it.

Thnx k8yk!! I look forward to it too! Next update will be in a month & I really hope there's a difference then. After seeing some of your posts today I felt the need to measure myself. And to say the least, the one thing running through my head all day will be, Why can't I be 5'8"? Lol. That's always how tall I wanted to be & weight-wise, I wouldn't have so far to go if I was ; p Later today, hopefully, I'll be posting my current picture ; )

Lol, I always wished I was shorter so I could be one of the cute little petite girls all my crushes seemed to like so much! But not anymore. We should all learn to love who we are :) And who I am is a curvy, tall, Amazon warrior woman!!! You can be the cute shorty I always thought I wanted to be. There's room in the world for all kinds of beauty.

Lol. I'm ok w/ my height 98% of the time. Buying clothes is the biggest frustration since I'm average height, yet short/average/long all range depending on the coin toss when making clothes. Lol, but I have always wanted long legs. I think I'll be just fine w/ mine once they look legs. I just have an attraction for height. But yeah, Xena had a short side kick, so I think I'll be ok ; p

I know how frustrating it can be but I think it's really awesome how you are trying to be aware of all facets of your body. You know that it's not just a number on a scale but proportions as well. I know that you are going to do well and like Kate, I cannot weight to see how well you progress!

I know it's just a number but until it gets smaller it's REALLY going to bug me. The scale has been my nemesis since I was 7 (that's when I had to start weighing myself regularly). Unlike most, I don't even argue w/ my scale anymore. It'll defeat me everytime if I let it. That's why I decided to start measuring myself. I know for me, in the past, it's made weight loss real when the scale isn't as friendly. And the scale isn't being friendly, lol. So onward & downward hopefully = ) On my way to 200 & then it'll be the next hurdle ; p
