Day #64 of summer vacation:)
Lol will start with the good news first for a change.;-) Hobbled my way to my GP yesterday and she's put me on a wait list for an MRI scan which could take about a month. Also got some Tylenol 3s. But to my complete amazement, the doctor wrote a note for employer saying I should be off work for AT LEAST three weeks. WOW, was blown away!!! Now can use some of my banked sick days and do not have to be on-call for the entire month of September!!! Sadly, however, did not get much sleep at all last night. Was up almost every 2 hours. Right hip does not like lying down much, but I sure wish I could!!! Oh well. Trying to make the most of this and to stay busy. Yesterday made a big batch of marinara sauce with chopped carrots, celery, mushrooms...the works.;-) Today hope to make butternut squash soup with pureed pear. Would be nice to Google a low-fat, stuffed, sweet potato recipe. Lol meals are suddenly really interesting.;-) Funny thing is that it feels deeply peaceful to be eating right without the fight to exercise daily.
The sun is shining brightly in a true blue sky today, a cheery light.:) Time to make another pot of coffee and soak up these relaxing hours.;-) Stay extraordinary, buddies, and have a wonderful day.;-)
