The weekend wasn't too bad. We went to Santa Cruz on Saturday for the funeral, it was a very beautiful service - More like a celebration of life. Not dreary at all. There was a TON of food. It was really hard to make good food choices, so I ended up filling up half of my plate with salad, had some baked chicken, and a little pasta. Then we went shopping on the way home. It was so nice being able to buy clothes in size "L" instead of "XL"!

I had to start over on the C25K. Every time I would try and run, my hip would threaten to go out on me. So yesterday, I started from scratch, but made sure to run a bit slower. I was less tired when I finished, but I was able to get through the whole thing!

Still looking for a place to stay, but I've decided not to stress about it any longer. I'll keep my eyes open, and just pray about it.

It sounds like you did a good job choosing the healthier food options when I'm sure you could have done sooooo much worse! Congrats on the new size range. The proof is in the pudding and you have the real, tangible proof right there of how far you've come. Good for you for starting over on the C25K rather than getting discouraged and giving up. The stamina is the most important thing to work on right now so don't even allow yourself to increase your speed. Get the muscles and bones and cardio built up and then worry about the speed. I'm still at a slow trot starting week 8 and I'm certain it will take me more than the 9 weeks to reach the 5k in 30 minutes mark. But I will eventually. You will too! Keep up the great attitude and success is yours. Have a great day!

COngrats on the new size!! Aren't you just thrilled! Once you get that new size on you can really SEE the difference too! makes you feel better and walk prouder! Im so happy for you. Glad to hear that things went well at the funeral (sounds more like a "wake" to me). I like it when the focus is more on celebrating the life. I agree with evelyn64, just work up to it slowly and it will happen, we don't want any injuries or shin splints.

You're doing really well. Congrats on your recent weight loss below 215, getting to a smaller size and for making the right choices with all the food yesterday!! You are doing great. Keep at it and stay focused. We're all rooting for your success!
