I knew after three consecutive days of the scale showing weight loss, I would have a day where my weight went back up. It is still disappointing. After five consecutive days of working out, I am taking a break today, but I have two back to back gym classes tomorrow. Despite what the scale says, I am definitely feeling better!

I have yet to figure out why that happens, especially when I log my food faithfully and can't find an obvious reason. I have to assume that I have a greedy body that is clinging to every last ounce I've put into it over the past several years. As Baskington says, my clothes are definitely fitting better, so take heart! Tomorrow is another day.

I think I am retaining water in my muscles because I went from almost no exercise to daily exercise. I am not seeing much of a difference in my clothes yet since I just started eating healthy and exercising again. I really appreciate any support I can get! While I was thrilled to retire, I found myself spending way too much time at home being unproductive. I am turning that around through volunteering, eating right, and exercising. I need to keep pushing so that it becomes a routine.
