I was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes oct 2008.My doctor told me that if I lost at least 10% that I would not have to be on any medication,at that time I was 198 lbs. I am down to 179 lbs just by watching my carbs and increasing my fluid intake and increasing my activity level. In my spare time I like to quilt and do other crafts. I have been married to the same man for 28 years,we have 2 grown kids (one each). My weight has always been an issue for me and I am NOT giving up!!!
