Pcos most of my life...its def been a struggle...besides pcos..I have carp tunnel,fibro and arth...everything hurts... refused to take cymbalta for pain till now...may succumb later...I am 48 just turned on the 2nd of sept!! Married and my dog is the light of my life..have been overweight most of..no all my life...going to get rid of this...NOW!! I started on Dec 4..when my husband was diag with diabetes...got him and me on a strict diet..no sugar..low fat etc...he lost 60 lb..me ...my scale said 30..I was happy...then on July 22 I thought I wld go low carb to JumpStart my wt loss..OMG!!! On Jul 24th had doc's appt...guess what..my scale lied...I had lost only 10 lb...so I was mighty..pissed...now I really had to do something..so Dear Dr Atkins to the rescue...for many days I thought I was doing Atkins...but when I read thru forums,etc...I knew I was not doing this right...but still while on this diet..I lost 20 lb as of today...09/07/13...of course..I have a new scale by now....So my journey till now is 30 lb total...I have miles to go..tho...will do induction till I lose 100....then will see what to do...Started at 292...now 272..and plugging away....
