I am 34, mother of three. My husband thinks I look fine, but I'm concerned about health problems in the future. I already have pain in both my hips and I'm sure the extra weight is not helping. My BMI is 31.4. My goal weight will get me to BMI of 23.9. I am not having anymore children so I need to commit to just doing it. My mom steadily lost 40 pounds in the last year by lowering her carb intake and now it's my turn. I was supposed to start when she did, but that didn't happen. I couldn't stop drinking Mt Dew and therefore couldn't keep my carbs where they needed to be. No more excuses! I might even get ambitious and throw in some exercise.
