Current Weight:(19 Apr 14) 154.2 lb
Goal Weight:145.0 lb
following: starstar73's own diet
performance: losing 0.8 lb a week

Was diagnosed with cancer in September 2010, that was the first year I was consistently overweight. After my diagnosis, I set out to lose the extra pounds and regain my health and succeeded in large part to FatSecret keeping me accountable with my food & exercise! But following that achievement, while I stayed cancer-free I grew less motivated and pretty much stopped exercising. I realize one pitfall was only having a goal of reaching a certain weight. Now, my only goal is to keep building habits that will enrich my daily life and pay off in the long run for my health & happiness.

One thing I really need to work on is reducing stress, or avoiding it entirely. I know regular exercise and staying focused on my healthy habits will help me to stay "out of my head" and do what is best for me mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Good luck to everyone on their unique journey!

High Protein Lower-Fat Options (Using whole, real foods)
Great timing on this, thanks! I will be eating the whole egg though Smile It seems to me there isn't enough fat there to fuss over; if an egg is what pushes me over the edge, then I was eating too much fat already.

Incorrect Info on Food Lists
I just changed this per the info on which matches your description re: calories (120). The nutritional information is added by other members so if it's wrong you can change it, but there's no guarantee someone else won't change it back again. Good luck!

Buddies for Xbox 360 + Kinect?
Hi, I recently got a Kinect and like using the Kinect PlayFit app, but right now I only have one friend who uses it. If anyone else would like to be buddies here and on Xbox LIVE to compare activity and stats on PlayFit or other games, let me know! My gamertag is the same as my FatSecret ID, starstar73.

These are the games I'm currently playing: Kinect Sports, Kinect Sports: Season Two, Junk Fu (supported game for PlayFit through Kinect Fun Labs), and I just started The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout today. Plan to get more of the PlayFit supported games eventually, especially the dancing ones.

I don't know if it matters, but since I'm posting this in Diet Buddies, just FYI: I'm not following a specific diet, beyond watching my overall intake and quality of food. My focus is on rebuilding healthy habits, especially regular sleep & exercise.

Anyway, take care & good luck to everyone Smile
