Have to start over, again.
Don't think of it as failing and starting over but rather continuing the process. These set backs are all a part of it! I'm in the same boat as you but trying to take it day by day. Also, if you are feeling overwhelmed it's completely reasonable to take a week off to maintenance calories on purpose. That way you don't have this guilt cycle going and you're in control!

Need morning energy during 16:8
BCAA's are a great thing to sip during your fasted morning hours. They help me feel energetic enough to even workout through a fast and don't provide enough energy to stop your fat burning. Their primary purpose is to keep you from losing lean muscle while your body is depleted. Hope that helps.
