I have been overweight since I was a child, despite always being fairly active and not having incredibly bad food habits, or so I thought... Like most people I've tried soooo many diets had little success and ended up back at the same weight or higher. Same old story. Over the last year I have started clean eating and weight training and although the scale may not say so, I feel much better for it :)

Nuts and seeds are fairly high in calories and also have healthy fats so good to add as an extra to salads or just on their own as a snack to get those calories up! This applies to avocado as well. Also have you tried meals like baked oats (1 banana, 1-2 egg whites, 35g oats, 5g honey, handful of frozen fruit) comes in around 260 cals, 46g carbs, 2g fat, 10g protein... good as a breakfast or afternoon snack? Sorry If i'm just repeating what you know, it's just what came to mind!

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
i sometimes get to the point where i weigh myself everyday but get discouraged if the numbers go up, so since starting my new diet have only weighed myself 3 times this week Smile
