I can say neither one taste as close to a potato.They have their own distinct taste. I tried celery root and It pretty much tasted like celery. That pic up top looks pretty yummy. I may give celery root another try. I bought my celery root at my local supermarket.

Try cooking your veggies another way. I get tired of steamed or veggies cooked in water.I fry them in olive oil with my favorite seasoning or I bake them on a cookie sheet with seasoning and olive oil. My husband also hates many veggies, But he never complains when I cook them fried or in the oven. Make a broccoli bake or a cauliflower bake. You can find the recipes on the Internet. I tried the fried Daikon and I did not like them.I expected them to taste like fried potatoes ...Not!I hope you don't give up.Good Luck!!!

Half Servings
If you eat half of a serving of something, you will put 1/2 where you added that food.So instead of putting a 1 you will put a 1/2 or 1/4. This is how i add half servings

What would you tell your 16 year old self?
Don't starve yourself to lose weigh. Not a healthy way to live your life, you will lose in the long run ...and it wont be fat that you lose. Hair loss,muscle loss,weight GAIN...Eat good healthy food!
