Oct., 2007 Hello, I've been doing the Atkins diet since Oct. 15th, my usual weight is about 157 and I'm 5'2". I'd like to be 105 lbs but I guess I have to be realistic, I ain't no fashion model.Back in my "high school skinny" days, I was an athletic cheerleader (size 27 waist) and got pregnant at age 20. I was at 210 for some time, then stayed at about 180 because I didn't care. At age 27 I started going to the gym and by the time I was 31 I was at a reasonable size 14, but still chubby. Today I'm 35 years old and tired of being a size 12, I've got so many cute clothes I can't fit into and next year I'm going to a family reunion party so I'd like to see the faces when my family sees I finally did it, lost the weight.
Jan. 1, 2008 UPDATE My goal this year is to walk more, at least 3 times a week and watch my portions, yes, eat lots more veggies!!! I'm starting from square one again.
May 27, 2009 UPDATE I am on a new mission since I've gained about 20 pounds because I think I've been drinking too much alcohol. So no more of that and it's Yoga, exercise routines and watching my calorie intake now!
Feb 5, 2010 I am realizing I have been gaining and gaining, but now I am on day 12 of strict no carb dieting. I'm at about 159 right now. I've found a new diet Missy79's Low Carb Diet that has inspired me. With the help of my husband I'm able to keep the right foods in the house!
