Diabetic ...where can I enter my insulin useage.
I don't think so either. you can only track the food you eat and then do blood tests to see how they effect you...

okay, gotcha, missed that post. I think what you're eating is fine and sustainable and that is the important thing. Almost everyone who loses weight quickly on a fad diet and then goes back to eating the same old as before of course gains it all back plus some.

Losing 2 - 3 lbs a week is very good and healthy and better for you than quick loss. It also gives your skin a chance to slowly shrink back and with exercise and firmer muscles you'll avoid the skin droop.

Keep logging in your food on a daily basis and don't forget to re work your RDI as you lose the weight.

Okay, clarify for me please, you say you're only eating the soup, yet in your food journal are many other entries including pizza and tacos! But I don't see any of the soup entered on a daily basis.

The soup combined with these foods, and you do have many other healthy choices, would aid in digestion as cabbage always does.

If you added the ingredients in your soup to your cookbook you could then add 1 serving whenever you needed to.

snack vs meal
I would say it depends on what you snack on. If you skip a good nutritious meal and then snack on junk with extra sugars it could stall you.

Basically it's the total calorie consumption in a day that counts not what time it's eaten. However I believe it's as much 'what ' you eat as how much.

I'm a grazer and never eat what others would consider a complete meal. I compare my metabolism to a fire. If you put in 3 - 4 logs you get a big fire or a whole lot of energy (carbs instant, protein longer) but then after 4 hours or so all you have is ashes and you have to do the same all over again. Whereas grazing is like putting a log in the fire every few hours or so and keeping a steady even heat (energy) going.

That's what works for me and my lifestyle.
