What program are you on? There is so many ways to get fibre but without knowing your plan, it's hard to advise.

First off CONGRATULATIONS !! Laughing

You have a big responsibility now, not only consuming the most nutritious foods possible for yourself,, but now for your baby too. Learning to eat healthy and as 'clean' as you can will not only give you a great pregnancy but as you learn how to do the best for yourself you will also be able to teach your child as they grow up.

My mantra is "if it has no nutritional value, it doesn't go in my mouth" Shock

Best of luck to you !Smile

Calandar is a Deal Breaker
Seriously? We live in a big beautiful world filled with many different people and cultures and you should be accepting, like a good christian, of all.

The first day of the week varies all over the world. In most cultures, Sunday is regarded as the first day of the week although many observe Monday as the first day of the week. According to the Bible, the Sabbath or Saturday is the last day of the week which marks Sunday as the first day of the week for many Jewish and Christian faiths, while many countries regard Monday as the first day of the week.
According to the international standard ISO 8601, Monday is the first day of the week ending with Sunday as the seventh day of the week. Although this is the international standard, countries such as the United States still have their calendars refer to Sunday as the start of the seven-day week.

If you let something like a calendar control your life and will give up belonging to a wonderful support group like FS, well, I'd hate to see how you would handle a truly serious problem.

Best of luck to you!

Winter Texan and too many visitors
You only get treated as you allow people to treat you! You feel a need to feed them... that's natural, mothering instinct and good hostess but it only goes so far. How about doing breakfasts which are pretty easy, healthy and cheap and then suggest going for a walk, maybe they'll come with you and if not, go anyway. When you come back put on your 'normal' lunch that you would eat, salad whatever you normally eat and if it's not enough for them then let them get hungry and go in search of more... even if its to root thru your fridge on their own and make a sandwich or whatnot. tell them the kitchen is open and feel free to help yourselves and maybe they'll get the idea to pitch in. Speak up and say 'i'm headed to the grocery store anyone want to come? " this might give them the hint that they need to purchase their own preferances.

I am a food snob and always respect my host when I visit. I bring my own organic choices and never expect them to pay or provide me with the foods I want.

Best of luck and be strong.
