Why not try something natural (and cheap) Tumeric tonic..... 2 tspns of tumeric, 4 tspns raw ginger powder, 2 tspns lemon juice and 3 tbspns of agave juice or as needed + 1/3 cup spring water and a dash of cayenne if you like.
I drink this every day for energy.
Caffeine is my enemy and turns me into a very nasty person so I understand your problem.
read up on turmeric, one of the best spices you can consume and also helps with any antinflamatory problems you might have.

Broken leg so no cardio, needto lose weight...
Well, isn't life funLaughing !! I've been logging in my foods and I'm enjoying adding in the high fats but I am missing my fruit and yogurt in the mornings.

two days at the gym on the recumbent bike and up to level 6 now,Very Happy lol.... also doing some gentle weight lifts on my ankles and butt lifts for my hams.

and I've gained two lbs! Embarassed as I said, isn't life fun !!!Laughing

Thanks Ingria, you are one of the people I was hoping to hear from. You always have good suggestions.
I'm hoping now that I can use the recumbent bike, I will start losing. I started the other day and boy oh boy, you don't realize how much muscle mass you lose in just 3 short months.
Did my shopping today and found organic broccoli and asparagus along with my grass grown meats. We'll see what the next week brings.

Thanks MM, your suggestion makes sense. It triggered something in my brain about my past experience with Atkins which I used to love but as I got older and will only eat organic ethically raised meats, I've been eating less and less.
My carbs are all complex and from the low glycemic level but yes, maybe i'm eating too much even though I always keep it under 100 net carbs a day, I guess being sedentary , well it's not working.
So I'm going to do the Atkins induction for 2 weeks and see if that makes some movement in the scales.
I am now able to go to the gym and do 30 min on the recumbant bike so finally some movement !!
I'll keep posting my foods and we'll see what next week brings.
Off to the stores to buy that meat !

Broken leg so no cardio, needto lose weight...
Hello again people, many who know me from before.
I'm reaching out for some suggestions. I broke my leg a few months ago and am just now able to fully weight bare. In this time of bed/couch rest, I have gained almost 10 lbs.Shock
I started posting my foods to see what i'm really consuming and I know I can't change what I eat so I need to see if there is some food combining tricks or any other suggestions.
I know there are some very knowledgable people on this site and some that have had some 'disagreements Wink " with me in the past, lol, but i've got an open mind and am willing to listen to all.
My daily food intake is open to look at so pls feel free.
