If I followed Dr' Oz's formula I would be at 1440 cals per day. Right now I'm maintaining at 1000 !!
We're all different, age, activity level etc all play a part so I would suggest a calorie calculator like
Keep logging in your foods and stay away from processed non nutritional foods.
You'll do it, It didn't take you a week to put on the weight and it won't be a week to lose it so be patient.

HCG cream, not injections
There are tons of diet scams that advocate a 500 cal a day diet, HCG, GARCINIA CAMBOGIA, DR BERNSTEIN (B12) and many others, the common denominator is the 500 cal a day diet.
Starvation mode is a myth, your metabolism may slow down but not enough to make you stop losing. Read up on the Minnesota Starvation experiment, ask an anorexic.

If you log in your foods daily here and open up your diary for all to see you could get more specific information regarding what you're eating and maybe why you're not losing.
Many here are LC/HP or Ketogenic or Atkins and can help you along.
