Yes, do your research. Mine is big and clunky but so easy to clean. I take the pulp that is extracted and freeze it and give it to my daughter who bakes it into muffins for the kids so nothing is thrown out! I also have to learn how to make my own almond butter with it.
I tried wheat grass but way to much work for such little output and very messy. I'll never complain at paying 3.00 a shot at Booster Juice anymore!

carb challenge
Good for you for taking control. Please be careful when products say sugar free though, they may be sugar free but they are always sweetened with something. Such as the salad dressing, it has splenda in it.
So be sure to check out the breads and see how they are sweetened.
Sugar and it's substitutes are very deceiving. or rather the packaging and labeling are deceiving.
Many sweeteners such as stevia do not affect your glucose levels but the majority do.

So true Jeri, some days you just don't feel like eating, especially when its hot and humid, so I nibble and it might only be 4 - 500 calories. Then I go to a grandkids b'day party and enjoy a the bbq and wine and triple it. it all works out in the wash.

Many find the FS calculator a bit high. And no, you don't have to reach it every day. There have been days for one reason or another I ate more than it, and other days less, I just make sure it averages out over the week.
