Bob's Red Mill products are usually carried in the 'healthier' food dept's of grocery stores now. But go into their website and put in your location and it will give you a store near you.

Bulk food stores often carry different kinds of flours too.

After re reading your post countingblessings I did more research and realized that what you refer to as MCT oil is actually coconut oil and palm kernal oil.

I know many who are not on the ketogenic diet but use coconut oil in their coffee etc to curb their hunger pains etc and keep them satiated longer. I use coconut oil instead of butter and in baking.

I personally would not use this product because of the damage to the orangutan's forests in Borneo etc to harvest palm oil.

So I wouldn't put this product in the same context as the HCG drops and Garcinia Cambodia and all the others etc which acutally claim to be weight loss supplemnets.

Logging everything everyday, or not?
I definitely log in everything especially when my foods change. I'm in maintenance now and have been for years so what i watch is my sodium, being 59 it makes a big difference. Although i don't think you should wait till now to start watching it and making yourself aware of what's in those foods you eat.

I hit 1200 a day just with completely natural vegetables so imagine how crazy it would be if I ate processed foods.

Protein would be an important one for you heatheranada especially being vegan along with iron. Fibre you can get from so many dark green veggies as i'm sure you know.

and lol, I agree about the wine, it's a luxury you can only afford if you don't want to lose, so every time I start sneaking up in weight I eliminate the wine and bam it's off again.

It seems to me that you in particular Countingmyblessings, have taken a personal offence because you use something that has worked for you. Wonderful, So you've told your experience and stated that it has worked. I'm very happy for you and hope that your weight loss and weight management continue after you stop using it.

Not once did anyone speak directly against your product but diet supplements in general.

And there are as stated tons of absolute garbage flogged by so called specialists (i.e. Dr Oz) to the public.

As stated before, I believe that healthy eating and nutritious foods are the only way to lose weight and keep it off for life.
