Hello all, my name is Misty and I am 33. I have a boyfriend that is 7 years younger than me' trying to keep me young ;)

When I was in my early 20s, I weighed about 140... since then (due to injuries and such) I have inched my way up to 210 and am not very happy about it!

My goal other than to lose as much weight as possible (not expecting to hit my goal of 150, but it would be nice) is to just become as healthy and fit as I possibly can. Maybe get back into my size 9-10 jeans! :)

I recently had a fall down my stairs in my home and as a result, am off work till my shoulder gets fixed. Had scope surgery on it and the doc said he couldn't find the tare in the cartilage that the MRI showed. Go figure, so I'm looking for a second opinion. Almost got full range of motion back in it, but I can't lift my arm above my shoulder level more than 5 times without it hurting and my job requires that movement more than 300+ times a day!!! I work on a GM supplier assembly line :/

Well, I hope to gain some good friends out of this experience and hopefully lend support to those who need it in return. I know how difficult it can be... (coming from an injured person that can't do most exercises that she wants to!) and sometimes a little encouragement goes a long way :)

Today is a Very Challenging day for Me!
I agree 100% with riocaz! If that was all I ate in a day my man would run screaming from me cuz I would be ready to kill everyone in sight! She is in starvation mode. Anyone that follows that kind of diet would not lose weight. I will also be the first to say, my choices are not always the best... but I eat what my limit is in cal every day if not a little more and I have still lost about a lb a day since I started this diet about 4 days ago. It's all about the choices you make! I would much rather have a lot of healthy food and feel full, than a lot of junk food and be starving the rest of the day. I had one of those days yesterday... I ate just under 1000 cal in snacks alone and my dinner pushed it over a little, but I would much rather go over a little than not eat at all. You lose energy that way and then burn less cal overall.

I can't imagine what the "2 days a week 800 calories, no fruit!" challenge is gonna be like at the same time as doin the "Starting to run and get fit" challenge. Guess I will just have to get creative with my choices, but I plan to stick to it to the best of my ability.
