Hello! It seems like I'm always on a diet! I'm hoping that, this time, it will be a lifestyle change. I seem to do better with less carbs, so I've decided on the Atkins Diet. I am 43, married 14 years, I have a teenage daughter, 2 cats and a dog. I have a full time job as an office manager at a dental clinic. My husband and I are also hobby farmers. I enjoy reading and playing video games with my family. We also like to cook together. My main reason for trying to get healthy is that I have high blood pressure. I've been dealing with it for 13 years and I truly believe it's related to my health/weight. It would be nice if I could be med-free. My plan is to take baby steps. Ultimately, I'd like to reach a goal of 155 lbs.
