Atkins low carb/healthy, clean eating is my way of life. I love it. I've lost just shy of 30 lbs. My belly is way smaller and was the first thing I really noticed changing, and I've lost about 15 all-over inches so far! I'm in OWL on Atkins and kinda pre-maintenance. Weight loss stalled a while back, so I know how to do maintenanc! I started fooling around with calories during the stall and lowering the calories and really watching portion sizes helped me take off more lbs. I'm committed to logging my food. I use my calories wisely with healthy foods. I don't beat myself up if I go off plan, but I sure feel better when I stay on it. I had put back on about 8 lbs and felt like a toad and could see it in my belly size. Once back on plan and eating healthier, I lost the 8 plus a couple more and my belly went back down. My partner could see a difference. This WOE is just such a reward to myself. I am at my lowest, and I've got about 6 more to goal. Then I'll see if I want to take off more than that.
I do make some fantastic low-carb, sugar-free desserts, thanks to the many folks out there with their web sites and recipes! Thank you!
My partner and I have made this plan something we can life with for the rest of our lives. We pretty much eat the same foods.
