I am a 40-something Mom of three, two boys & a girl and Grandma of three, two boys and a girl. I live in a small town in Wisconsin and I have been married to the most wonderful man in the world for 3 months now. I love music. Listening to it, singing it and playing it. I love to garden, can/freeze my harvest in the fall and cook. I like to have a glass of wine with a well prepared meal. I was in the best shape of my life last June, (that is when I took my pic) July having worked hard on diet and excersise, then began to get ill around Aug. I gained 40 lbs in two months, and due to the pain I am unable to excersise, drive or work. I found this site and it has motivated me to look forward to life in the future. Reading some of the stories has made me realize that I can be a better me then I am right now. I can now watch my food intake and eat healthy. I was a long time memeber of weight watchers and I loved the food and activity tracker but of course no job = no paycheck so I could no longer afford it. I like the idea of having so many challenges and groups of people to share stories with.

What can you guys recommend for the best Dancing workout?
I know this is cheesy but it works. Before I got sick, I started the last time with this and only made it thru 10 mins but built up to the full tape. Richard Simmons Sweating to the oldies and #2. He is so funny/goofy that I just smile and laugh, the time just flys by and I can do it in my own living room. It also gave me the energy to start doing floor excersises and run/walking/jogging two times per day. You can probably pick up a copy at your local thrift store for next to nothing.
