'Spoonie' sufferer x2! Under Active Thyroid and Endometriosis. Piled on weight when over active thyroid was 'fixed' and struggled to lose it. Finally went low-carb, Paleo-style, August 2012 and started lifting weights, I haven't looked back! Gone from carb-lover to "carb fascist" as I've discovered my body and carbs don't go together.

Have become something of a low-carb advocate over the last few months, running a blog giving advice, tips, and recipes to inspire people into joining the low-carb revolution. As I'm wheat intolerant and have gone totally grain free and don't use any Gluten Free replacment products the blog is also a good source of ideas for anyone who's new to Gluten Free and is interested in ways of eliminating grains from their diet.
