I'm 28, 5'6". I like to run. I use RunningAhead.com (I'm kayty83 there as well) to track my running, races, and other workouts. I count calories on FS when I want to lose weight. Here are my goals, past & present:

>> Weight Goal #1: 160 lbs. [MET 9/9/2010!]
>> Weight Goal #2: 155 lbs. [MET 11/19/2010]
>> Running Goal #1: Sub 31:00 minute 5K. (< 10 min/mile). [MET 6/6/2010! 29:51, 9:38 per mile]
>> Inserted Running Goal #1.5: A sub 10 min/mile for a 10K wasn't one of my goals, but I recently ran one in 1:00:16, and was pretty psyched about it, so I'm putting this in here as a met goal, even though the goal was never set :-) ["MET" 10/3/10, 9:42 per mile]
>> Running Goal #2: Complete the 2010 Detroit Half-marathon in under 2.5 hours (~11:30 per mile or less.)[MET 10/17/10, 2:15:43, 10:22 per mile]
>> Inserted Running Goal #2.5: A sub 9 min/mile for a 5K (less than 27:57) ["MET" 11/13/10, 8:34 per mile]
>> Running Goal #3: 8 min/mile or less 5K.
>> Running Goal #4: Half-marathon at < 10 min/mile. [MET 4/30/11, 9:40 per mile]
>> Running Goal #5: Half-marathon at < 9 min/mile. Next chance: Martian half in April 2012
>> Weight Goal #3: Be able to pull off running in a sports bra and shorts! (this will probably never happen...)
>> Running Goal #6: Full marathon at < 10 min/mile. (If I ever decide to do another full...)
>>Running Goal #7: Log 1200 miles in 2012.

I love coffee!!!!!
I quit coffee about a year ago and I definitely don't regret it. I actually feel awake and well rested in the morning, and I can go about my day without requiring a caffeine fix. When I drank daily coffee I had to have it or I'd get a major headache (and kill someone). After quitting I don't have to deal with that anymore. The idea of being physically dependent on coffee bothered me, so I quit.

Workout Music
Ah, I have this problem all the time. I have you tried putting a couple of your favorite workout songs into Pandora to find similar songs? That works pretty well, since people have very different music tastes. Here are some of my faves anyway:

Streetcorner Symphony - Rob Thomas
Rock & Roll - Eric Hutchinson
Dynamite - Taio Cruz
Teenage Dream - Katy Perry
Stuck Like Glue - Sugarland
Hey, Soul Sister - Train
Shelter Me - Train
Disease - Matchbox Twenty

fat but
I have the opposite problem. No ass whatsoever. I did try on clothes today though, and found that mens' 36x30 skinny jeans work pretty well, lol!

In the News: overweight women make less $$, overweight men make more.
I agree rjenkins, which is why I was hesitant to agree with the reasons for the inverse correlation between women's pay and weight. There are too many other factors that often go with obesity (ie depression) and athleticism (ie motivation, determination) to tie the pay changes to weight discrimination. I do think there is weight discrimination at least in hiring processes, but in terms of pay and advancement, I think that has more to do with personality factors that tend to coincide with obesity and fitness.

Custom Food
If you're talking about adding a food that you have all the nutrition information for already (ie a cereal you purchased but that isn't in the database), you go to your diet calendar, enter food, add item, and then beside the search box is a link for a "new item" where you can input all the info from the label.

If it's a recipe that you want to calculate the nutrition information for based on the ingredients and number of servings, I would do that via My Fatsecret, Cook Book, Submit a Recipe.

If it's something like a single serve sandwich made from ingredients that are already in the database (ie 1 slice mozzarella cheese, 2 slices tomatoes, 2 slices bread, etc), that you eat frequently and don't want to keep entering in the itemized form (or a common meal combination, like soup+salad+bread), I would create a "favorite meal" by going to your food diary and selecting "favorite meals" on the right, underneath the ad box, then "add a new meal" at the top.
