12 years ago I was at my best weight - 127 lbs. And was also into Karate. Over 4 yrs ago I was underweight at 118. I then met my current boyfriend, fell in love, and began my weight gain, unfortunately. It seems, when you are in love and content that's when you start putting on the pounds.
I had never frequently eaten at restuarants, but I started doing that, and also started frequenting a lot of fast food places. I kept gaining weight. Once I reached 150 lbs. It seemed like the pounds came even faster.
I hope that with exercise and counting calories I will be able to reach my current goal of 135 lbs. Once I do that I plan to see if I want to go for another 5lbs and get back into Karate full time. My goal with that is to be better than I was before and eventually earn a higher rank, and possibly compete in some tournaments in my state.
I am currently using the Insane Home Fat Loss workouts by Mike Chang. Check out his channel on YouTube as well as his channel for Six Pack Shortcuts. I am also trying to get back into a routine of karate workouts.
