I am on the Atkins diet on induction and gaining weight! Please help.
I was advised to do the Atkins diet by my physician. I have lost about 50 lbs. I've gone from a 26 to 16-18s. My cholesterol, triglycerides, blood pressure and energy levels are improved. I am off the statins and blood pressure meds I used to take. Doing Atkins in a healthy way and making it a lifestyle are critical to making it work well. Water is also very important.

Is it possible to lose 15 lbs and not change in size?
Absolutely. My friend and I are the same weight and height. I wear 3 sizes smaller than her because I have a lot of muscle. You could possibly have lost some muscle. While a pound of fat and muscle both weigh one pound, muscle is more compact and fat is fluffier.

I seem to be plateauing early. How do I break it???
Tracking what your eating is very important. With the amount of activity you are doing, maybe you are under eating. If you don't get enough calories your body will try to hold on to the fat by slowing down your metabolism because it thinks you are in famine.
