Pretty much all my life I’ve been heavier. In high school I started playing sports and dropped to my lowest weight of 175. I thought I looked great and felt great at 175, so that’s where I want to get back to. Good thing I saved a pair of pants from my high school days, I can’t wait to fit in them again. I never really weighed myself, and so when I stepped on a scale in January 2010 I was surprised to see 220 lbs. I decided then that I needed to walk my dog more and make changes. When I started FS and entered my starting weight, I had already lost 5 lbs! Yay!
I reached the 200lb mark at the end of Aug 2010 and I’ve had trouble getting past that wall since, and ended up giving up. I recently went to the doctor’s and he congratulated me on the amount of weight I’ve lost so far and encouraged me not to give up and gave me some tips on getting past this 200lb wall. My first change is going to be a strict no more than 2000 calorie diet. I’m very surprised by the amount of calories that are in foods! I can’t believe I used to eat 4 pieces of pizza like it was nothing and that’s pretty much an entire day of calories! I want this to be a lifestyle change. I want to feel better about my self, and be able to do more.
