Obesity jab/cure for obesity and type 2 diabetes
This is really interesting and great news. I usually hate taking meds, especially long term like I'm currently on for blood pressure, but in this case I would make an exception Laughing. Let's hope it wont have any major side effects.

It was just last week I was reading about gastric bypass surgery. In the article it said one of the main reasons the surgery works is not just because the stomach is smaller or food can no longer be digested properly. But because some of the nerves that signal hunger have been severed.

Also read that there is a new surgery available that was originally a treatment for ulcers. Where they cut the Vagus nerve that's linked to controlling our appetites and fat storage, without cutting up our stomachs or intestines.

It's just good to see new treatments becoming available for this epidemic.

WOW 4kgs in 2 weeks!
Wow, well done! you've done really well to achieve that much, very inspiring. That's the amount of loss I'm trying to aim for too.

Am hoping to join a gym this week and saw they do the Body Pump as one of their classes. So will look forward to giving that a go.

Good Luck!

Deleting Weigh-In
I'm in a similar situation. When I first joined I was already 5 days in to my diet, but I hadn't weigh myself again yet as I only do that at the beginning of each week.

So I wrote down my weight from when my diet started in the weigh in section when I joined. Then I learned I could back date the weigh in to an earlier date, so added a new weigh in for when I started dieting. But found I couldn't delete the one recorded when I joined.

Now kinda looks like I lost a whole load of weight over just 3 days LOL! but I decided to just leave it, as I've recorded alot in my diet calendar, Journal and added alot of the foods I eat to the food datatbase. And wouldn't want to lose all that and start from scratch.

Hopefully you will find an alternative way to deal with it too Smile

Switching to slim fast
Hi! I'm new on here, just joined a few days ago and having a good read through this great site.

I'm doing a calorie counting diet but have bought Whey Protein powder, kind of similar to Slimfast. To replace breakfast with, but haven't started using it yet. Am saving it for when I plateau. As have heard changing your diet can help kick start things.
