Fructose in my chewable vitamins.
I have been taking chewable vitamins, iron (I have an issue with anemia) and calcium for years now, but since I started Atkin's, I actually paid attention to the 'other' ingredients in these supplements. Since the start of induction, I have stopped these vitamins for fear that the fructose will hinder my weight loss. Does anyone have thoughts or any information on if the small amount of fructose would stop weight loss? The Multi vitamins say 0 carbs, the iron says <1g carb and the calcium says 3g carbs.

Ok, your screen name makes me want pie by golly~ I started Atkins just this week and I have 26 pounds to lose. I understand what you mean by getting tired of eggs so the other day I had a tomato with mozzarella on top and broiled it until the cheese bubbled, then added a few strips of bacon. It was yummy Smile I would love to have you as a buddy, I was wondering how to go about getting buddies myself Smile

Getting to the net carbs page of a particular food
I just started Atkins too. I didn't know there was a page that shows net carbs until I read your post, so thank you ! Anyway, after some searching I figured out a way to get to the net carbs page. Search for your food, when the page comes up with the nutritional information, scroll down to the list 'related types of (the food you searched for). Example I searched for green peppers, the list was for 'related types of peppers', at the bottom of the list there is a link for "view more peppers nutritional info", this will give you a page with more item information. At the top of this list there is a link for "total carbs", Click on this. You should now be at the page with the net carb information.
