I am a generally optimistic person in life, with a great husband, 2 amazing children,and a good career. Time for myself does not come easy though. I have a bad habit of carb eating when I am stressed. A few years ago, I noticed subtle metabolism changes that eventually packed on a few more pounds. I decided I could either go up a size in jeans or make a lifestyle change. I went low carb and started exercising, running a few days a week. I like feeling stronger and more in control of my choices, as well as setting an example for my children.
My journey continues with just being the real me. My health is the result of my choices, and this helps me to be aware of my choices. Being in shape helps me to be strong, confident, and disciplined. I am proud of taking care of me, which affects every other part of my life.
