For most of my life I was a competitive athlete (swimming, rowing, mnt biking) and was often the only female in the weight room.
Then,three or four years ago some pretty heavy things happened to me. I got through it all, but I packed on a lot weight during that time.
At my highest I was 40 -45 lbs over my normal weight. I never thought that would happen. But it did. And having gone through that has given me a lot of perspective.
