I am 24 years old and I have been overweight since the end of highschool. I've put on 30 lbs since the beginning of high-school. Most of the initial weight was in my bust and in my butt, neither of which I was arguing about. But once it hit my waist, I started to become unhappy, but still didn't really do anything. During my college years, I started to work out at the gym; My sophomore and junior year working out almost everyday, and senior year became too busy to workout, despite my desire to.

So here I am, a graduate and I want my body back... I chose Weight Watchers because I've known a lot of people who have lost a lot of weight on it and think very highly of ww.

*Update: Four months and 15 lbs into this diet, my fiancee decided to begin ww and help me with my motivation to lose the rest...

101 Reasons to Lose Weight
65. Looks from guys: Even though I'm in a faithful relationship ( 3+Yrs).. I still like the attention, its flattering. And isn't better to be the one to do the turning down?! Wink lol

66. Cute bikinis: I have a bikini I bought LAST summer with the intention on losing the lbs then.. Well I didn't, so thats one of my motivations for this summer or at least by the end of the summer.

67. Photographs: How many times have you ask to not be photographed because you didn't feel attractive? I know I have.

68. Future wedding: Even though there isn't a date set... I'd like to look GREAT in my wedding dress... and the wedding night Wink

Big goals work
Maybe when you have smaller goals... its easy to play it off as being not a big deal and you may slack more than if your goal are bigger because you really have to stick with it?!

lemon water in the morning anyone?
This does not sound healthy! Any weight that you lose... you'll definitely gain back... so why do it? It might flush your system out.. but its not a way to LOSE weight. I'd suggest just exercise and the right foods will give you the body you want... LONG-TERM.
