Hi,

My name is Terri and I am 45 and married to the best guy in the world. Between us both we have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. With 1 of his and 1 of mine still lving at home.

I was always a thin person till I started having children. lol This is definately one of those things that make you gain weight. When I divorced I lost weight and got down to 117 (way too thin), no diet just stress did that, and gradually got back to a comfortable weight. For me that is about 130.

Now here I am at 154 and I dont lose the pounds like before. It does take alot more effort than it used to. I had tried Atkins before and lost 9 lbs the first week!!! That scared me and so I stopped, thinking it was unhealthy. Back then there were no sites like this to help in weightloss. I did not understand how the weight could come off so fast.

I recently joined the Atkins site and also Atkins on facebook and saw many people talking about fatsecret.com. I am so happy to know that there are sites out there that are truly available just to help us out. No gimmicks or pay this much a month..... I love it !!!! Plus I see that there are alot more people out there just like me. What a blessing and so encouraging. Thank you and hopefully I can encourage you all as you encourage me.
