How do I get more protein?
Good carbs are steel rolled oats, legumes, sweet potatoes and vegetables. Carbs are necessary...period! Try getting them in your diet earlier in the day so your body uses them for fuel, and burns them up through out the day. Protein is best in natural form like egg whites, chicken. Try to consume protein through out the day at every meal, about 20-30 grams at a time is supposed to be a good amount, they say (studies) that your body can only consume so much at one time, and any more then that just gets wasted. When needed, my husband & I supplement our protein with Isopure Zero Carb Protein Powder, we like vanilla flavor, and we mix it with cold h2o to save calories.
