I have always been overweight and while I have realized that size has nothing to do with beauty, I am not totally satisfied with myself. I don't mind being big but I really need to be healthy. (Oh... and a flat stomach <- a NECESSITY)
Recently I was diagnosed with two illnesses (nothing major) which could lead to weight gain, diabetes, heart attacks etc. (things which could be worsened by poor diets).
I believe these are wake up calls... and I am ready to wake up.
I decided that I want to lose weight in stages rather than setting one major weight loss. My first goal is 200lbs by October 25th. When I reach my 200lbs, I'm gonna party like there's no tomorrow... lol. THEN, 185lbs by December 31st.
My ultimate goal is 160lbs, but I think it is sometimes daunting when it seems what you are working towards is out of reach. "You gotta walk before you can run."
