im 40 y.o and recently gave up alcahol so i needed something to do so i started walking 1hour a day , i eat what i want to a degree and changed from sugar softdrinks to zero and have gone from 89kg to 71kg in 6 months , i feel terrific and really love my fat walks(as i call them) , i work fulltime and am a single mum to a 23 daughter and 12 y.o twin sons also my 5 y.o grandson.
i have started to wear a ekg watch on my walks and always try to have my heart at 130bpm or more if i can.
i have also just found out that i have a 21/2 cm blockage at 50% in my artery and a very high calcium score of 185 which puts me at a high risk for cardiac desease and i have a connective muscle/tissue disorder so the way i see things is that i have to continue eating healthy and exercising regulary otherwise who knows!!!
