I started being more "serious" about weight lost in December of 2012, a year after having my last baby. I lost 22 lbs from Dec 12/May 13 using Fat Secret and than gain 10 lbs back during the summer of 2013. I got very serious in Sep of 2013 and as of Oct 2014 I have lost a grand total of 98lbs, give or take some.
I have used FS for a very long time to track my weight and currently am doing the same. I do count calories, I just use another method at this time. I eat around 1750 net cals a day and aim for at least 5 jogs/runs a week. I also need to start doing some body strength training, sooner than later. I do take maintenance breaks every 8-9 weeks. I am working on losing the last 20-ish pounds and reshaping my body. I want to add in heavy lifting, yoga, krav maga and aikido to my life. My aim is strength, endurance, flexibility, and speed. I do want a body that looks good, but I also a body that can carry me through life.
I don't know what clicked and made me finally do more than want to lose weight. I think it was fitting into an Asian society. I have always been around 200 pounds, my lowest weight was at 15/21, both times 165 pounds. I am now at my lowest weight ever and I keep going. I am doing this as a lifestyle change.
I am a married mother with 3 lovely children. I am into geeky stuff like anime, video games, etc. I love Korea and Japan and plan on visiting both countries someday.
I have no issue with adding buddies here, as long as you know I am just not that activity and I will give you my honest opinion.
