Hello. My name is Raquel and I like to eat! LoL. Well.. eating is what brought me to my current weight issues. In high school I was always fit because I danced. In college, joined the Army and was Army fit. Then, once I left the active lifestyle, I not only stopped exercising, I began to eat junk and processed food all the time.
It led me to not only gaining weight, but I herniated a disc in my back and had surgery at 27. Then knee surgery 2 years later. Then was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis 3 months later. Then, last year I had ovarian surgery followed by kidney stone surgery.
My final straw was this year when I had to start taking blood pressure meds and started getting migraines. I had gone on numerous diets and workouts that always failed and I finally went to see a nutritionist to help with my dietary restrictions from RA and kidney stones.
