What to expect when you start an exercise program
Your weigh will fluctuate a lot due to a lot of things. To lose 2 pounds a day you would have had to have burned 7000 calories a day more than you ate. So unless you dieted and ran 7 mph for about 5 hours both days, the weigh you dropped is mostly water.

Don't be discouraged though, just stick to your caloric allowance and you will lose weight. Eventually you will go a week or two without losing anything or even gaining a couple pounds even though you stuck to your diet. You have to look at the averages over time and not let short term gains or losses mean all that much to you.
