Update 8/19/13 - I am now only 14 more pounds until I'm within the "normal" BMI bracket for my height...and 24 more pounds until my goal....it's been a looong road. If I can do it anybody can...Im definitely not perfect and fall off the wagon from time to time but it feels good to succeed in what once was an immovable feat! I might even try to get a washboard stomach with abs :) The sky is the limit! Yep I'm a pretty big dreamer!

Update 3/19/13 - kinda on my own as far as keeping myself accountable, hubby is doing his own thing :( Feel free to add me as a buddy, would love positive encouragement!
Returned stateside 2011 and continued to gain massive amount of weight due to emotional eating (in response to the death of my mother) and increased availabilty and convenience of fast food. Was in and out ER in aug 2012 due to body reaction to hard time processing insulin...no one knew what it was...turns out it was developing stages of Acanthosis Nigricans.
So now i am trying to reduce my calorie intake, lower sugar intake, belly fat, overall unheathly eating habits and up my excercise. Definitely do not want to develop diabetes. Currently using the Couch to 5k program and my first ever 5K will be February 23. Also using the Xbox kinetix Adventures, zumba, and Dance Central to keep moving and stay motivated. Joined a Kinetic fitness gym to workout with hubby.
