At 24 years old I stopped 'losing weight' and started getting rid of it for good.

Now 26 years old, working in IT and ridiculously able to find the positive outlook on things. Honest, direct and usually too rational. A combination that gets me into trouble a lot. Had a little rebound(5kg), but steadily finding a way to incorporate exercise in my new life rhythm.

Special thanks to:
- The economy, for making me unemployed for almost a year after graduating and so bored out of my mind that I decided to make unemployment meaningfull by working on myself and starting an exercise schedule
- My sister who let me tag along when she went jogging and took the time to teach me how to do it eventhough I was much slower and not in the best of moods.
- My friend who suprised me by taking me to a gym and signing up with me because she knew I was too scared to do it on my own.
- My aunt who completely changed her diet and gave up on her snack to help me get started when I was living with her.
- My boyfriend who loves me unconditionally and helps me remember to love myself that way too.

Help/Advice with goal weight
I do think 85 is a bit much for 1.61m.

BMI calculation is good to give you an indication but it does not take in account:
Bone density
Muscle mass
Fat proportion

Also Muscle mass is heavier than fat so if you have more than average muscle (which working out can give you) your BMI calculator will consider you overweight even though you're possibly not any more.

You could start using you bodyfat % as a measurement instead.

how do u get past the cravings??
A trick that works for me is thinking why I want to eat, analyzing what I want to achieve by doing so, will it actually help me reach that goal. If the anwser is no, don't eat because it's pointless, if yes, ask yourself what else you could do to achieve this goal.

In your case: Why do you want to eat? anwser: because you can't sleep (from what i can deduce out of your post).

I have a question: How will eating make you sleep?

I'm sorry but I'm a little worried. Your goal weight seems awefully low (45.4 kg). Why did you choose this number? how tall are you?
