Hi, all. I am new to this group and new to caring about what I eat in general. I didn't start gaining weight per se until after 3 kids and entering my 40's. Then, every year it seems like I put on a couple of pounds and at 51, I woke up and realized I had gained twenty pounds. I am not comfortable at this size AND I recently remarried and my husband is not only shorter that I am (I am ok with that!) but because he works in a third-world county on projects, he has lost so much weight that now he weighs less than I do! That is not all right with me. I realize I don't have as much weight to lose as some others do and kudos to all for working on improvements and helping yourself get healthy. BUT, I too am alone on this lifestyle change. My problem is really the opposite in some ways. My husband says I look wonderful, he loves the way I look, I don't need to lose weight, I'm perfect, etc, etc, etc. WHile I appreciate it, I have to disagree. So, it makes it harder for me when he returns home and because he has gone without American food for so long, he wants to go eat things that I don't want to eat! So...I'm kind of alone in reverse!
