my health kick started when i was 15, i was overweight growing up, and at my worst i reached 210lbs, although i am tall 5'10 i was still 40lbs over. i lost the weight without much working out, pretty fast. I just cut out everything, for about 5 months all i had everyday, was a shake in the morning, 1 meal usually some sort of meat, veggies llil rice, and a shake at night. Only water. thats it. it was very strict. oh yea and some herbalife diet pills. Those were aweful times. i went through one months supply of those pills. in the middle of the second month, i could not swallow anymore of them. my body rejected them so i stopped and continued with the diet only.
Till this day i have not gained more than 5 to 10 lbs. i am currently hoverin between 167-170.
I have to be honest, i really enjoy healthy eating, i really enjoy exercising, i crave these things. it is probably a good habit and lifestyle i have acquired since my teens. today I eat very healthy, im defenitely not a salad only girl. I love my meats, love good carbs, and love my nuts and yogurts. My eating is very balanced.
The reason i started this food journal was because i wanted to be more aware of how much i typically consume. My boyfriend is under the impression im under my RDI, therefore my body is in starvation mode, which causes my metabolism to slow. I feel i hit it or go over it. I want to lose these last 6 lbs just so im not at the upper bracket of my recommend weight. 150-170.
