I am a wife (13 years) and mother of 2 (10 y.o. and 7 y.o.) I work full time in sales, with many meetings conducted over meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is an awful lot of temptation, and we are constantly on the go as a family. My husband is doing South Beach with me, so it helps a ton with undue temptation and meal prep. My size and weight over the years have gone up and down, but since my diagnosis with hypothyroidism, it mostly has only gone up and has been difficult to take weight off. I feel optimistic that I will get it down to stay this time. My big opportunity areas are to exercise routinely, cut portion size and drink more water!!!
