Atkins was the first diet I ever went on and the one I have returned to most often. I've also done WW and lost about 50 pounds. More recently, I've been on the 17 day diet and have been getting better and better about exercising. Down about 75 pounds from my maximum weight. Want to lose about 23 more. More later....

No carbs
I don't understand how a low carbohydrate diet leads to a loss of muscle mass. I've read that adequate protein coupled with exercise is the key to retaining muscle mass. Also, I really like the plug for avocados for reducing inflammation, and the fact that they are a great source of potassium, but, on the whole are they really great for weight loss?

Atkin buddies- induction phase support wanted
Count me in! I've done Atkins several times. I have been off and on. I am feeling good when I am on it because its the only diet I stay satisfied on. I've also been very discouraged in that I have not really been able to get down to goal. I really need help and support in making it this time. I want to lose 30 pounds. Over the last couple of years, I've lost 62.....

The system did not take my weight a couple of days. Forgot to reply or save or something. Now it won't let me add those weights. How do you do it?
