Hello all! Happy New Year!!
I'd like some buddies on here too Smile I lost 15 lbs on here nearly 2 years ago but have now gained it all back (the last 5 over this December!). So I'm back on the wagon and would love to lose 25-30 this time (and of course, keep it off!). Mutual encouragement and inspiration would be great Smile

Food Problem
rhumen: I agree with the re-focussing of energy. When I get serious about my weight loss (as I am now), I tend to direct a lot of my energy to this website - diligently tracking every calorie, reading forums and posts, adding bits to my journal, and then making myself exercise just so I can come back and post about it! I have a bit of an addictive personality and if I focus it here, then I am focussing on my good health and keeping myself motivated at the same time... I'm sure it wont work for everyone, but it's working for me so I thought I'd throw it out there Smile Good luck!

What are some of your embarassing/emotional/eye opening reasons for loosing weight?
I know I'm tall, I know I carry my weight well, but I also know I've gained gradually over the past 1.5 years and I was a bit overweight to begin with. For me it's mostly about just feeling uncomfortable in my body - sitting at the table and feeling my belly rest on my thighs like I'm pregnant again. Only being able to fit into my one biggest pair of jeans and even they're getting tight. And my job has a physical component to it that I'm starting to struggle with a bit - not so anyone else would notice, but I feel it. I love my work, and I'm proud of who I am, so I am taking control and fixing my problem. So there! Razz
