Update (June 23).. I started this journey @ 160 really (When I changed my diet and goal it restarted my progress! Boo!).. So I've lost about 10lbs.. I want to lose a few more.. I knw it hasn't been as long as some people.. But its my journey.. and my issue with my weight.. 10 lbs is 10 lbs.. I didn't like it.. and this was also about FINALLY completing something I started.. And I did it!.. now jes a few more lbs and imma try my best to maintain and continue 2 go in the gym and tone 3-4 times a week.. wish me luck!



Original (April '09) I’ve always been a thick girl growing up. But I’m comfortable at a certain weight. I’ve gained and lost weight all my life, but recently it’s just stuck. I just turned 26 and I feel like my body is telling me that it has issues with the things I’m putting in my body. My mom always told me everything in moderation. BUT I wasn’t following that. You can’t have 3 fast food restaurants in a day and not expect to stay at a comfortable weight.

Luckily I came across this web site through my G1 phone. I after counting my calories for a normal day I realized that I was taking in more then I was burning. So I had a self chat and decided to start controlling my calorie intake and REALLY get in the gym this time. I’ve been all talk and no action. Now I have to be about it, because now anyone can see my daily intake and my exercise journal. So I really have to stay on top of things. I pray that I stay on top of things and keep it up.

I work in a hospital so I’ve seen what obesity, drug use, alcohol abuse, and anything else you could imagine can do to your body over the years. So why not try and fix it now. I’m not heavy but my goal is to maintain. GO ME!

a friend of mine from work used 2 drink alot of soda.. she resently stopped and lost 10 lbs.. nows she just drinks one a day.. and perffers water or crystal light over soda.. Hopefully you can do it 2! So gud luck.. Buy a water bottle and make it like ur cell phone.. or a child.. it goes everywhere with u.. lolOne of my friends at work had a coke addiction.. Is anyone good at determining the nutrition facts and calorie count for recipes? My sister makes a desert pizza and I have to recipe but i dont know the calorie count for each indiviual piece.. Any help?

Exercise Journal Entrys?!
2 different people has told me.. that they didnt a step counter.. and both have said we walk 5 miles a day when we wprk.. i guess i cud use my step counter.. If i can find it..

Exercise Journal Entrys?!
I work at the hospital 12hrs a day 3 days a week.. I'm on my feet walking around most of the day.. I'm not sure what 2 put in.. I've been puting in that I walk at a slow rate for 8hours and stand 4hrs.. I don't sit to much just when I eat and chart sumtimes.. I just don't know the best exercise to put in.. I was thinking slow walkin for 8 hours.. standing 3.. desk work 1.. Any ideas?
